How this model works
The outside envelope is cell count times 42 mm, minus a single overall clearance allowance. Divider centerlines stay on the nominal pitch rather than being redistributed across the smaller envelope. The cavity starts above the bottom to retain a floor. Dividers overlap the shell and floor slightly, making one connected part. This flat-bottom tray has no mating feet, stacking lip, magnets, or standardized interface; a 42 mm pitch alone does not establish Gridfinity compatibility.
